Re: Notice of Transition to New Billing Software – Ampstun Corporation

Attention Apple Valley Foothill County Water District Customers

As you are aware, the Apple Valley Foothill County Water District has been utilizing billing software called Water Solutions (a.k.a. Oak Bay Services) for all billing and invoicing needs related to monthly water consumption. Unfortunately, Water Solutions is no longer being supported and/or maintained by the developer; as such, the Apple Valley Foothill County Water District Board of Directors has made the decision to begin a relationship with the Ampstun Corporation, which provides a complete and modern utility billing module. The Ampstun billing module has several exciting features that we are pleased to be able to offer to our customers; some of these features include: Customer Care (CIS), Customer Billing, Online Payment Center, and a Customer Portal, with unique customer login and account history specifics.

Over the course of the next few months, the Apple Valley Foothill County Water District staff will be working closely with Ampstun software specialists to begin customer account data migration and start the overall process of transitioning into the new billing software package. As we begin the migration process, we will continue to keep our customers informed of the overall status, expected transition timeline and the anticipated “roll-out” date for the implementation of the new billing software and customer portal access.

Due to the change in software, the previous online pay option, provided by PayClix, will no longer be utilized once the transition to the new software package is complete. However, customers wishing to pay online, via credit/debit card payments, will be able to utilize this payment option with the new billing software. Furthermore, as always, customers can still make payments to the Apple Valley Foothill County Water District by cash, check or money order and by delivering these standard payment options to our office, located at 22545 Del Oro Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307. Thank you for your patience with this change intended to allow for the best experience for our customers. We will continue to keep you informed, via additional mailers and updates to the District website, regarding the billing software transition process.
